With 600 employees working across the territory, the Department of Infrastructure (INF) is one of the largest departments. INF has launched a campaign to highlight some of its hard-working employees and the important work they do.
Third profile of the campaign is Dave Richards, Regional Customer Service Officer in Hay River.
Journeyman Carpenter by trade, my career with the GNWT began in 2001 after my 14-year-old son encouraged me to apply to a Driver Examiner position with the Department of Infrastructure, then known as the Department of Transportation. After 20 years of taking on various challenging opportunities, I’m now a Regional Customer Service Officer. I manage the daily operations of the Driver and Vehicle Services offices in Hay River, Fort Smith and Fort Providence, hoping this position takes me to retirement… unless the GNWT dangles a new challenge.
Expired registration? 14 Driver and Motor Vehicles Offices are available to assist you across the territory. You can also access some services online.
