INF Employee Spotlight: Jeremy Inglangasuk

With 600 employees working across the territory, the Department of Infrastructure (INF) is one of the largest departments.

INF has launched a campaign to highlight some of its hard-working employees and the important work they do.

Second profile of the campaign is Jeremy Inglangasuk, Stationary Engineer in Inuvik.

"I joined the Department of Infrastructure in 2013 as a plumber/gas fitter. This role includes inspecting plumbing systems, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs.

I noticed that the department was recruiting a stationary engineer.  As I was always interested in furthering my skills, I trained and obtained the certification that was needed to get the job.  I completed the course in 2020 and was offered the position earlier this year."

Building maintenance is key to ensuring government offices, schools, medical buildings and other facilities remain safe and operational to serve you.
